In response to the Governor’s order closing Virginia’s schools for the remainder of the school year many questions are being asked by students, staff, and families. Please know that as soon as information becomes available Henrico County Public Schools will provide you with an update and I will also provide you with an update. To answer some immediate questions:
- At this time, school buildings remain closed and we are not permitted to enter the buildings to retrieve personal items for students or staff. As soon as we have a plan in place for picking up and collecting items we will share that information with you.
- In regards to virtual learning, please continue to complete the assignments posted in Schoology. Refer to the virtual learning site as well by clicking on this link http://blogs.henrico.k12.va.us/hlp/virtual-learning/
- SOL assessments will not be administered this school year.
- We do not have an update at this time regarding grades, summer school, summer academy, Jump Start, retrieving items, and collecting laptops.
