Ready to explore the IB Middle Years Program at Fairfield Middle School?
Join the FMS Falcons virtually this Thursday, October 15th, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. for their annual IB Open House.
Use this Open House link as early as today to view videos about IB and FMS, leave us questions you’d like answered during the event, and access resources like our fall newsletter. Save the page because it includes Thursday evening’s schedule, and the links to each IB subject session listed will go live at 5:10 p.m. that night. The schedule and links will also be available on Fairfield’s website: https://fairfield.henricoschools.us/
Explore IB during one of their two duplicate, one-hour sessions that begin at 5:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. If those times don’t fit your Thursday schedule, the evening has been designed so you can jump in to start your visit anytime between 5:30 and 6:30 and still have the full experience. Guests who logon after 6:30 will still be able to participate in a condensed experience that ends at 7:30.
The FMS team can’t wait to showcase IB with you!

Erica Broudy, Principal
Hello, Mighty Wolverines!
My name is Mrs. Erica Broudy and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new principal of L. Douglas Wilder Middle School, Home of the Wolverines! Over the past 16 years, I have worked as a teacher and administrator and I have been so fortunate to touch the lives of so many children. I will spend a lot of time with your child and hope to build a lasting relationship with you that is based upon trust, communication, and a strong dedication to your child’s well-being. Dr. Champ and I have worked closely to ensure a smooth leadership transition and I could not be more grateful and encouraged about the opportunity to lead at Wilder! While the continued impact of COVID restricts us from meeting in person, I want to hear from you! Please consider completing a 2-minute quick survey (linked below) by July 22 to help me get started with our journey. The information that you provide will help us to keep you involved in planning for the 2020-2021 school year.
In addition to opportunities to help us identify priorities for the upcoming year, I also invite you to contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, feedback, or just to say hello! If you need to register or turn in documents, then you may access the county website or call the school at 804-515-1100 Monday-Thursday between the hours of 8:00am – 3:00pm to make an appointment. Once again, I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity to bring my instructional knowledge, passion for school programs, and zest for positive culture and school spirit to your community. Thank you for having me!
I look forward to connecting with you soon!
