“Wilder Middle School counseling department was notified by The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) that they have earned the RAMP designation. (RAMP means they are a Recognized ASCA Model Program School. The application is pretty intense and is scored by a review team of school counseling professionals from across the country. According to ASCA, they recognize schools that are committed to delivering a comprehensive, data-driven school counseling program. There are less than 100 schools in the state of Virginia that have earned RAMP designation. Wilder School Counselors will be honored at a recognition ceremony at ASCA’s annual conference in Denver, Colorado on Monday, July 10, 2017.
Please join me in congratulating this school counseling team! Kids are different as a result of what they do!”
